"Superb luxury condo"

"Superb luxury condo... Hospitality outstanding... rooftop pool and amenities magnificent... location location location with great shops ...restaurants... night life... we had a wonderful time and I highly recommend this property in the beautiful romantic zone of Puerto Vallarta..." - Colleen, May 2018

"I’d definitely come back here"

"Absolutely wonderful. The location is in old town, which is exactly what my boyfriend and I wanted. It’s very cultural and lively. Literally a two minute walk to the beach. So many things to do, to see, so many amazing restaurants near by. The weekends were a bit loud because of all the night clubs and bars, but we had no problems with that. We listened to all the live music with our balcony door open! The condo itself was very nice and the staff was so helpful with anything we needed. I even lost my sunglasses on the rooftop and one of the security guys had it waiting for me the next day. I’d definitely come back here." - Katrina, May 2018

"Johnny's condo at the V399 building was PERFECT for our week stay in Vallarta"

"Johnny's condo at the V399 building was PERFECT for our week stay in Vallarta - it had location, location location! The beautiful new building is located in the Zona Romantica n'hood (right around the corner from Basillo Badillo), which is lined with tons of pretty boutique shops, delicious restaurants, and lively bars. It's also a short 10 min walk to Muertos Beach. The property is managed by a local company called Palmera, whose representatives were both very accessible & responsive via cell phone/email when issues came up (eg we had a clogged sink on morning of day 2 in one of the bathrooms, and they arrived 15 min after we called, and fixed it quickly). Johnny was also very responsive via text whenever we had questions regarding the neighborhood and how to get to nearby (& less busy) beaches. The condo unit itself was beautifully decorated and had a large kitchen, 1 bedroom, & 2 bathrooms both with shower stalls. The living room had a convertible sofa that was easily turned in a spacious bed that was comfortable enough for myself to sleep on for the week (gave my travel companion the bedroom). There is also a tiny balcony off the bedroom with a view of the mountains. The super-added bonus was the condo's rooftop infinity pool, that had an AMAZING view of the city/ocean! Not to mention several jacuzzi's, fire pit, and BBQ grill all available to guests on the roof as well. My friend & I had a great experience staying @ Johnny's condo @ Vallarta & we definitely recommend staying here!" - Debra, April 2018

"The house was perfect, and it made a great base for us to explore the beaches, gardens, and culture of this special island."

"John was a fantastic host. The photos & description were very accurate, and his house was a wonderful getaway. The location was perfect for us. It was close to town & beaches, but a bit off the beaten path and with an atmosphere of seclusion and privacy. Before we left, John was in touch to give us all the details we needed to know about the place and the area. We just got home last night, and we already want to come back! The house was perfect, and it made a great base for us to explore the beaches, gardens, and culture of this special island." - Sam, June 2015

"It's a great option if you like to cook, and want to feel more at home, then as a guest."

"The house was exactly as described, no surprises. It has an artsy, tree-house feel, with a cool spiral staircase leading up to the front door. John replied to inquires very quickly, and was always available to answer questions. He provided a House Manuel, with lots of practical information. The house has ample privacy, and is a 5 min drive from Fredriksted, about 30 min drive from Christensted. It's a great option if you like to cook, and want to feel more at home, then as a guest. The is a grounds keeper who is always close by if you require any help." - Courtney, March 2015

“One truly feels ensconced in nature, while still being able to access most of the conveniences of modern life without difficulty. ”

The experience was wonderful! Arrival went smoothly, as we met the groundskeeper, and were given a thorough tour of the house and premises. Everything was exactly as described. The main room is very spacious, and we loved having two separate balconies on which to chat. We were surprised that the plumbing worked so well given that the house is situated on a hill surrounded by jungle. The environment is spectacular. One truly feels ensconced in nature, while still being able to access most of the conveniences of modern life without difficulty. The drive to and from town is a breeze once you get the hang of the roads. Overall I would highly recommend The Garden House, and look forward to visiting again! — Ethan, April 2015

"A great value"

"The location is amazing-right between 2 subway lines and 3 blocks from Central Park, the crosstown bus stops on close by, lots of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. A comfortable king size bed was our fav! Lots of street noise but that’s what the white noise app on your phone is for. The water pressure & shower temp were fine. Johnny responded immediately and was very accommodating to questions. A great value." - Julia, April 2018

"It was exactly what my girlfriend and I were looking for."

"I stayed here for the weekend while in the City for a wedding. It was exactly what my girlfriend and I were looking for. Johnny was a great host, and very communicative." - Jake, December 2017

"The location is perfect, especially if you are into walking around beautiful neighborhoods and enjoying awesome parks and museums."

"Johnny's place served us really well. We had 5 days in NYC and we spent most of the time outside, which was great. The location is perfect, especially if you are into walking around beautiful neighborhoods and enjoying awesome parks and museums. The apartment is near several subway stations, bakeries, restaurants, cafes, the MET, National History Museum, Guggenheim museum, Riverside Park and Central Park, so you will spend a lot of time just hanging around the UPW without a care in the world. The apartment itself is pretty basic, so it is perfect if you are looking for an active trip without many hours inside. The bedroom was really comfortable and having a TV with Roku was a nice touch. Johnny was nice and let us drop our stuff in the apartment since our flight in was really early. Communication was great, but the trip went so smoothly we barely had to talk with him." - Juliana, October 2017
